It is with pleasure that Napier-Hastings-Taradale dojo invite you and your students to the
10th Annual Napier Friendship Tournament on Saturday 3rd November 2012 at
Napier.
This is the 11th year of the tournament; again we are expecting a large turnout for what has become an excellent annual Kyokushin event.
The format for the event will be "one-match fights" of up to three
rounds. Kyokushin rules and judging apply. In summary, rounds ending in a single
wazari will result in another round (2 round same winner: end of fight, 2 rounds
with different winners a final round fight). An Ippon (signle ippon or two
wazari) will result in a match win with no further rounds.
Draws
will be based on weight, age, skill and experience in that order.
