Online classes

Online classes offer the opportunity to learn Karate from wherever you are.

 

Classes are live and taught by Black Belt instructors who are certified in Japan, based in New Zealand. Being an online member grants you full access to online learning tools, including tutorials, syllabus videos, pre-recorded training sessions, and access to Q&A sessions.

The classes cover Kihon (Karate strikes, blocks, thrusts, and kicks), Ido Geiko (Karate moving techniques), and Kata (Karate patterns and forms), as well as flexibility and fitness training.

With our online classes, you can achieve 'Digital Belt Certification' through an online examination. This involves following a specific training plan and demonstrating your skills in an online examination. Additionally, your Digital Belt Certification allows you the opportunity to upgrade to the formal Japanese kyu grade certification by attending an in-person physical examination.

The technical syllabus and belt certifications (both digital and Kyu grade) are authorised and administered by the World Karate Organisation Shinkyokushinkai New Zealand.
